Winter Fountain, The People’s Park, Waterford

I think it looks quite cold, but the light coming through the glass fountain warms it a bit.

The next one is just because it is Saint Patrick’s Day.

Tricolour, flying from Thirty Three The Mall, Waterford.

It was very cold this morning, then the Sun starting shining through the Irish flag beside me. It warmed me!

Bit more history for you, 33 The Mall, was the first place the Tricolour was ever flown in Ireland. Thomas Francis Meagher  unfurled it on the 7th March 1848, then his story turned into a bit of a legend.
